Three Visions brings together artists of three different generations: Ken Dubin, Benjamin Gardner, and Dennis Kowalski. Dennis Kowalski’s photo based drawings are investigations of our changing urban society. His observations of these changing environments is echoed by his use of altered media to create the finished piece. Benjamin Gardner’s paintings are charged with color and activity, as are his sculptural work, and often play as direct extensions of each other; Ken Dubin’s layered paintings referencing time are quiet and subtle in contrast, often evoking a stillness of what is yet to come, or has already been. Together their work shares an abstract aesthetic that reflects on human nature and of being human.
